Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a situation that is developing day-by-day. As part of the travel industry we are constantly monitoring updates from around the world and the impact that these may have on our clients.

The safety and well-being of our customers and staff is our highest priority and we will never send you on a holiday that is unsafe. For up to date information we recommend looking at the World Health Organisation’s website and the UK Government guidance but we wanted to put together a small FAQ blog to give you some information about our response to the pandemic.

What are we doing to help our customers?

We have launched a Flexible Booking policy to give all our customers the option to cancel or amend their booking if their trip is disrupted by the current situation. This applies to all new and current bookings around the world as we want to be flexible and offer peace of mind to our clients in an uncertain time for travellers. How can I protect myself?

We advise you to follow all applicable travel advice, including up to date information from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the World Health Organisation:

  •          Wash hands regularly with soap and water or with a disinfectant, especially after coughing and sneezing, or before handling and consuming food.
  •          Use disposable tissues when coughing or sneezing and dispose of these carefully and promptly.
  •          Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  •          Avoid close contact with people who appear unwell and avoid sharing personal items.
  •          Public Health England (PHE) currently recommends against using masks outside clinical settings. Should you decide to use a mask, you should ensure you continue to use all the recommended precautions in order to minimise the risk of transmission.

Should I be worried about booking a holiday?

  •           We’re monitoring things closely and are in regular contact with health authorities and government agencies around the world to ensure we are following the very latest advice.
  • We would never operate a holiday unless it was safe to do so and if travel restrictions are implemented to the destination you’re travelling to, rest assured we’ll offer you a free amendment or a full refund.
  •           We advise that you stay fully informed and if you want to discuss a destination with us, we will keep you apprised of any developments as they occur.
